for more than 1000 students ranging from prep to year 12. We are dedicated to meet the needs of all staff and students at
Ilim College and also we will make sure that there is a vibrant collection of books as well as substantial number of periodicals
and audiovisuals for our very young students.




			ILIM COLLEGE LIBRARY Advance Through Knowledge

Our aim is to inspire learning and research and to fulfill the information needs of students and staff. Ilim College
library creates a shared learning environment where learning is linked with multiple information sources. In partnership with
students, staff and the school community, the library promotes use of effective skills in the information literacy process and
use of information technology by providing materials that will stimulate growth in fractual knowledge, literacy appreciation,
esthetic values and ethical standards relevant for pursuit of lifelong learning.

Ilim College Library is a spacious building, including general reading and teaching areas, VCE classrooms and computer
research area in a bright airy space that houses a generous amount of collections as well as a teacher reference room.

Library services are supported by a computer network, comprising circulation, cataloguing and enquiry facilities.
Thirty computers in I.T. room is available for students. All computers are connected to the Internet/Intranet/Network and
all have other software packages for word processing and electronic presentations. Students can use the computers to
research and prepare their assignments for presentation.
